I Will Go With You
By Rebecca Purdy

"Here's my Poem of where the water took me one weekend in the San Juan Islands":

Water flowing down a stream,
Are you really what you seem?
Could it be that you are me?
I wonder what it is you see.

I will go with you.

Rolling underneath the path,
Nature's life, nature's laugh.
Gone unnoticed except by few.
One afternoon loved by two.

I will go with you.

Winding down around the bend,
Greeting others at creek's end.
In the flow of Puget Sound,
Sometimes lost and sometimes found.

I will go with you.

Friends embrace on the shore,
Wondering if there is more.
Does it depend on seeds we sow?
Does anybody really know?

I will go with you.

To the west, through churning straits,
Looking for the heavenly gates.
Joining waves in their dance,
Moving into the wide expanse.

I will go with you.

Lifted above into the sky,
I begin to see we never die.
Drifting in the breeze is bliss,
I never knew we could be this.

I will go with you.

From the earth there is a call,
Gathering rain begins to fall.
Find a way, bring heaven here.
Look inside, it is near.

I will go with you.

Pounding rain on cabin beams,
Life isn't always what it seems.
Love's passion grows within,
Hear the One voice above the din.

I will go with you.

I will go with You.

I will know You.

I will learn to Be

Because You Are Me.

I will go with You.
